My boyfriend and i just moved into our first apartment together. We have a 1 and 1/2 yr old husky, and well everytime we put her into the crate, she whines and barks for a ood 30 min then she figures its not helpingand she stops. But we just recently got a letter that some people have been complaining about the noise. I dont want to get kicked out. I want a safe bark control collar for her. Whats the best out there.

There isn’t a safe bark collar that’s humane. How would you like it if everytime you tried to speak something either shocked you, vibrated around your neck, or sprayed something in your face?
Have you tried training her? Also, huskies are a very talkative breed. That’s one of the breed qualities that you won’t have a whole lot of luck changing and what a lot of people love about the breed. Didn’t you research what she’d be like before you got her?

You can get an ultrasonic unit to put in front of his kennel.http://www.petco.com/product/11575/PetSa…
I found it works well with my dog; if he barks, the unit emits an ultrasonic sound only she can hear. Your dog will associate the unpleasant sound with barking and stop.
Also the dog won’t associate the barking with the collar (i.e. when the collar is not on it figures out it can bark).
Good Luck!

I wouldn’t use anything like that — she needs crate training and alone-trainng, so she won’t have a reason to bark or whine.
That way the dog is happy, the neighbors are happy, the dog is not shocked, sprayed or having her ears hurt (which can easily escalate her stress and lead to more and more noise, not less), and you haven’t wasted your money on an electronic doodad!

If you have attempted to train your dog to hush on command, but she still persists in barking for 30 minutes, then a no-bark collar is a better option that being evicted & homeless or having to give up your dog.
Invest in a good quality no-bark collar & if used correctly should solve the problem with your neighbours.http://www.dogtra.com/

My dog has one it doesn’t hurt them it might give it might give them a little static shock not a huge one. Go to pet smart but if you get a shock collar put it on a night and take it off in the morning!

there isn’t! they are cruel and inhumane! how would you like getting sprayed in the face every time you spoke?
